The METUX Matrix

A tool for anchoring ideation in Basic Psychological Needs.
The METUX Matrix is a structured series of research-based prompts covering all three Basic Psychological Needs as they manifest across six spheres of technology experience (1).  It brings together psychology research (self-determination theory) (2,3) and HCI to provide a simple way to systematically trigger ideation in ways that respond to basic human needs.
The METUX Matrix was created by Dr Dorian Peters and is available under a Creative Commons Attribution license CC BY 4.0
