The Quantified Self and Personal Informatics are two movements within the human-computer interaction community closely related to our idea of Positive Computing. I see them as tools/techniques that can be used to help people discover (and develop) their strengths.
Their focus is on quantifying rather than developing, and this is a subtle difference. The focus on quantifying is characteristic of certain communities, such as computer scientists. It can be taken to hilarious extremes, such as the Bedposted project.
Bedposted is a personal (they emphasize the fact that they do not offer social networking features) "Web application that will give you some insight into your sex life".
